Comment | The score for this Single is misleading. It clearly has been through either an analogue stage or digital equalization and resampling, or both. The actual clipped peaks are around -2 dB(fs), occasionally 'leaning' over this threshold because the transfer could not maintain DC at this level. The clipping is about as audible as on the album "Forever", where the slightly longer edits of the first 2 songs scored only DR5. This reveals one flaw of the DR algorythm, which also applies to all vinyl scoring, invalidating it, or at least biasing the scores by 2-3 decibels in favor of vinyl. |
