| Comment | Recorded to 24/96 FLAC, converted to 16/44 WAV for taking DR. Set to a peak of -0.3dB, resulting in an album replay gain of -2.38. Not the most spectacular dynamics. Some stracks are cut at about 15kHz, similar to lossy online music streams, which is strange for a Vinyl release. Some tracks show vocal compression or compressed beats which can be a little annoying. Overall, the sound is still okay. In most cases it is not too edgy or dry. Instead it is rather smooth with a focus on lower frequencies. It sounds a little bit like end 90s trip-hop influenced Pop/R'n'B. Already quite compressed, but still kind of warm, deep and enjoyable. |
