| Comment | Without the interludes. The front channels are heavily brickwalled, the surrounds much less so (only in really intense moments) and the LFE channel is fairly dynamic (but who's crazy enough to constantly brickwall that?) and probably the reason most tracks are still DR6. Would love to hear what this could have sounded like with a more dynamic master but this will most likely never happen. Still sounds a lot better than the Stereo CD and the overall surround mix is amazing. This really benefits from having an LFE channel which allows for strong bass transients even when everything else is brickwalled to death. |
