| Comment | This is a rather disappointing album in terms of sound quality. The production is fine, but the DR just kills any listening enjoyability. It's pretty fatiguing to listen to. It's even worse because I talked to Scott Lucas online about dynamic range, but I don't think he understands what it is. The music itself is better than the last album at least, in my opinion. I omitted the last song because it's a 14 and it throws off the average DR for the whole album (7 instead of a 6). It's a very sparse song so it doesn't really represent the rest of the album. |
