| Comment | Stadium Arcadium [NEmoType - Remaster] Info: My aim was it to create a remaster from the original CD release of Stadium Arcadium from RHCP (which i have at home and i got sick that i could not listen to it, because it sounded so f***ing distorted). Another reason why i did this is because i didn't found an unmastered or a remastered version of StAr. The only version which is listenable is in my opinion the vinyl-master... but it's crackling, just like every vinyl. And yes i know that there are tools which can fix this, but it will simply never sound the same as on cd. Yes and thats why i have done this folks... for a more listenable digital album version. Now both CDs - Jupiter and Mars are fully remastered and ready to listen. Well, hope you enjoy it ;) Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium ... Remastered und improved from original CD release Mastering/De-Distortion Process: - converted all CD files to 24bit/88.2Khz to provide more precise EQ/gain work - De-Clipping made on all files with iZotope RX3 (the most important step made, simply to restore the dynamics) - FabFilter Multipressor: to de-compress (expand) and equalize the files for getting a more natural/ dynamic sound - used FabFilter Pro-G to make the drums a little bit more "punchy" - last but not least: FabFilter Pro-L, to provide some peaks from clipping - multiple listening sessions on different (low- and hi-fi) equipment My audio equipment: -Kenwood KA305 amp with RFT B3010 speakers -Yamaha RX-500 amp with RFT BR25 speakers -Shure SRH-440 -Samsung Galaxy S3 in-ears All work was done in Adobe Audition 6.0 on Mac OSX. Conversion to lossy codecs (mp3, m4a) was done with xACT. Tags were done with Yate. |
