Comment | This album may well be a good one. But it is not listenable due to an almost ridiculous amount of compression/limiting. It is harsh, horrible, fatiguing, distorted at times, bereft of clarity, devoid of contrast in volume, & any oppertunity to turn the volume up yourself is remarkably absent! Why should I spend thousands on a sound system that brings the quality out in music, when they are only destroying it in the first place? Quite frankly, I'm annoyed. I purchased this dynamic calamity thinking that an artist with a key sound would have some sort of respect for this art craft, & realise that "MY Song's Louder than YOUR song" is the kind of childish conjecture reserved for POP releases. Obviously not! |
