MusicScope analysis shows that this single is similarly mastered to Ghosts Again though the high-resolution file in this case doesn't offer much over the standard CD quality other than perhaps some extra clarity in the percussion. Again there's very little clipping, with only 3 samples over 0.00 dB at 0.01 dB max. The sound is much darker and Industrial than Ghosts Again and the track does feel louder too but with less high frequencies and a grittier sound. Details in the song are still nicely seperated regardless of the Playing The Angel like low DR number. It's much better mastering because Dave and Martin's vocals aren't clipped and crackly, with this mastering being much better controlled and less prone to clip on CD. |
