| Comment | 24-bit/96kHz - Stereo. Mastered by Matt Colton. MusicScope analysis shows that the track has a rather constant loudness explaining the low Dynamic Range score but there is little clipping with true peaks at 0.3 dB max at several spots. The stereo image is also not very wide but then again the song is much more of a dancey track which is very compactly mixed. The production recalls Playing The Angel but with much cleaner mastering. It doesn't sound bad at all with the mix sounding much crisper than previous DM albums and the high resolution download adds additional clarity to the vocals, drums and subtly distorted synths. |
