Comment | I compared this against "The Ultimate Blue Train" CD. The "Ultimate" uses the exact same digital transfer and EQ, but adds some compression and chops off the tape hiss between tracks. Judging by the spectrogram, I'd say this original Blue Note CD is probably sourced from a copy tape, but it sounds good and is free of any audio meddling. |
