Comment | "Ever wondered what the first day of recording in the studio sounds like? In October 2007 Tracey travelled to Berlin to record demos of songs that would eventually make it onto her 2010 album 'Love And Its Opposite' - songs that no one had heard before and had never been performed. Here are four songs she recorded in producer Ewan Pearson's tiny studio space over two days plus another recorded in the same space in May 2008. Some are sketches that would later be overwritten or rebuilt in future sessions. On others you can hear ideas that were captured and kept on the final mixes nearly two years later." |
