| Comment | This is not an official release, but you can replicate it more or less yourself in Audacity. I've ripped the entire CD, then "repaired" DC Offset (this is tricky, because it messes up silences between tracks; carefully editing and fading helps). Next, I've applied the EQ curve "RedbookPre" in order to undo the pre-emphasis that messes up any "regular" rips of the album, and finally amplified the whole album to -0dB (the only peak that reaches the max is near the end of "Intermission"). The result is a group of files that sound the way the CD should sound when played on a machine that decodes the pre-emphasis flags. Some of the DR values found on this database are therefore somewhat misleading, since it sounds awful without de-emphasis.
