| Comment | It says on the Blood Music website that the CD has a different mastering than the digital counterpart and I'm definitely noticing the difference. The DR value is virtually similar to the bandcamp download, but the mixing is much more defined and punchier and the screams don't sound as buried. If you enjoy the album, I highly recommend getting this. Not sure about the vinyl but I'd assume that would also sound splendid. - This is nonsense. It doesn't say the CD is mastered differently than the Bandcamp download. It just says that it has a CD specific mastering, meaning that the mastering is different than the vinyl. The CD mastering is identical to the Bandcamp download except (of course) that the lossless Bandcamp download is 24-bit and the CD is 16-bit. |
