| Comment | Mixed by Michael Brauer. Mix assistant and Pro-Tools Engineer: Ryan Gilligan. Mixed at Electric Lady Studios, NY. Mastered by Bob Ludwig, at Gateway Mastering. - Very little dynamic range. Other versions seem to suffer from this problem as well, including the Shields Expanded CD set and vinyl release. My suspicion is that it was performed at the master-level independent of format and can't be fixed without a proper remaster of the original album. |
