| Comment | "24 BIT DIGITALLY REMASTERED" | Not that the CD makes great use of even the 16 bits dynamics the CD format has to offer... horrible mastering! Also, "Every Day I Have the Blues" and "When My Heart Beats Like a Hammer" should be the re-recordings, but it's the original versions. And it's not complete at all (missing are: "A Lonely Lover's Plea", "The Woman I Love", "Sweet Little Angel", "Good Man Gone Bad" and others). I also don't get the need for three additional ABC singles. There is also no CD-text on disc 2. I'd say: Avoid this release unless you're crazy about liner notes. |
