Comment Dave Matthews Band - Under The Table And Dreaming (1994) Label: Bama Rags Recordings, LLC - 888750096319 Format: 2 × Vinyl, 12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Album, Limited Edition, Mispress, Numbered, Remastered, Special Edition, Stereo, Wrong Masters Used Country: US Released: 21 Nov 2014 Genre: Jazz, Rock, Blues, Pop, Folk, World, & Country Style: Pop Rock, Jazz-Rock Vinyl Rip in 24/96 Rip by burntcracker Notes In Memory of Anne Remastered first release on Vinyl, pre-order available 11-21-2014 Sent to preorder holders prior to the original official release date of December 2014. Shipments were ceased when it was found the wrong master tapes were used on the album. The most noticeable difference being on C3/Jimi Thing. No brass in the song and the outro solo is missing with a different mix completely. Official release date for vinyl mastered from proper master tapes moved to February 2015. Unknown amount shipped to preorders via Music Today. They could have gone all analog, whoever made the decision to put digital in the chain is a dumb ass. On top of all that they used the wrong mix for Jimi Thing, which is missing the sax solo outro now. Word is that replacement copies with the correct mix will be sent out for those of us who got pre-ordered copies. Having said all that, it still sounds pretty good. Enjoy! EDIT - this shows how inaccurate DR meter is for vinyl, as the mastering is exactly the same as the digital download which is found here - http://dr.loudness-war.info/album/view/77924 - a full 3 points difference despite only one mastering being created for this release (the 24/96 was converted to 16/44.1 for the CD which does NOT change dynamic range)
