Tracks 5 and 6 consist only of clapping and cheers from the audience. The interesting thing about this DVD is that unlike The Woods, this release is generally not brickwalled. Songs like The Fox and Modern Girl (though live versions, of course) are able to shine without constant distortion. The strange exception is Entertain. Though logged with a DR of 15, the only dynamics from the song come from a few drum hits at the beginning of the track, then it's brickwalled 12 decibels from absolute peak. The song in question without its dynamic outliers would have a DR of around 5. Another strange thing is that the 6 tracks are a continuous performance, which means that someone either added compression during recording itself or for some reason compressed Entertain and no other songs after recording. |
