Comment | Single release that comes in a Deluxe 2x12inch Heavy Weight 45RPM Vinyl Box set. Recorded as 24/96 flac, converted to 16/44 wave for using the DR meter. Set to a highest peak of -0.39 dB, which results in a album replay gain of -4.86 dB. Considering that it is a Vinyl release, the music is exceptionally loud and compressed. On CD, so without the soft clipping of Vinyl, this would make a DR of about 5. A "good" example that even a Deluxe Box Set with heavy 45RPM Vinyls (only one track per side) and an Indie Label doesn't guarantee a good and dynamic sound. |
